Hello,

We have a windows11 station with PB2022 R3.
The station is an image that resets every log off.
The user profile is roaming profile saved remotely in the network(not local).
Every new log in we need to activate the PB manual time after time and the credentials won't save for the next log in.
Is there a config file that saves the credentials? We want to sync it to the user profile in the log off.

Regards,

Marina

Hi.

I would suggest to stop using that method. Instead use the logininifilecreator.

That way, you won't have to bother where this information is stored. Instead, you can store it wherever you want. You have the exact same settings, and information in the generated file is encrypted. Once the ini is created, you have to modify the shortcut that launches pb, and add an argument to look the generated ini for that information:

pb220 /LIF c:\2Check\logon.ini

If you change password for your account, the ini will stop working, and you will have to generate a new one.

This tool is available in PB 2019R3 and later releases. You can find it in <path to powerbuilder installation>\tools folder.

Andreas.
