Dear Team,

We are in the process of testing our migrated (PB2019R3 to PB2022R3) suite of PB applications.

I have deployed the migrated application, when I try to run the application from using exe, code is throwing an error while executing Sybase SQL and DB Stored Procedure. Error states (sqlerrtext) "Incorrect syntax near sqlHandle_01_4BB9BB3D".

The code works well, from PB2022R3 IDE. Issue surfaces when I run the EXE from a machine where PB2022R3 IDE is not installed.

I suspect something was missed while building the Application. Can you please help in troubleshooting this issue ? Thank you in advance.

Regards,

Dhiman

Hi Dhiman;

  Typically, this error is due to a "Failed to initialize sqlcmd library" issue. If this is your problem, then it could be related to the DB client software installation, configuration and/or version on the deployment machine vs your Dev machine. Comparing the two DB setups might be a good 1st step.

  Also, I would double check the DB client settings your app is using in SQLCA on the Dev machine vs the Deployment machine as this can affect the DBMS client's behaviour.

HTH

Regards .... Chris
