I just now discovered the new feature in the public online docs.

I think AWESOME :-)

Hi Armeen,

would it be possible to create a TOC (table of contents) with links to pages within the PDF?

And maybe create links other links (not just from the TOC) to different sections within the document?

I think a GREAT surprise for the PB2022 - which I already think is the best PB to date.

Hi Steen,

Thanks for your feedback!

You may check https://www.appeon.com/developers/roadmap (under "PDF Builder) for what is already planned to add for PDF Builder in 2022 R2. Regarding the features you mentioned (the TOC and other links), there are not in the plan yet, but I can add them into the enhancement request list for the engineering team to consider.

Best regards, Julie

Hi Julie;

I was just speaking to a government customer yesterday. They require ...

A) The DWO support HyperLink text like in the StaticHyperLink control.

B) The DWO Hyperlink would then also be replicated in the resulting PDF document.

Please add this to the requirements as well. Many thanks in advance!

Regards ... Chris

By the way, for those who may have not noticed, there are also details about new features regarding richtextedit control.

Yes, I'm crossing fingers for like 5 years now to see if finally we get a fully working version. :)

I would like to ask something. As this is considered as a beta feature, it will be supported? Or if issues are found we should expect them to be fixed in R2?

Andreas.

It is a beta feature in 2022, and in R2 it will be officially supported. But I strongly recommend to thoroughly test it now because customer input will drive what R2 will be. Please report any feature enhancements and bugs. Thanks!
