Hello everyone,

Im migrating my app to PB2019 R3, to get the new ribbonbar PBR. But I don't know what I'm suposed to do, the ribbon images go directly to the app (.pbr) file or I need to create a new (.pbr) file?

Hi Miguel,

What about this? It's on the PB2019 R3 features

Hmmm maybe I read an old post about 2019 R2. My apologies. So it should work then like any normal PBR I would say?

I don't think you'll need a separate pbr, though you could. What "we" do for our resources, is to have an empty library "pictures.pbl". In the project painter we associate the PBR file to that library, instead of assigning it to the executable. This will then generate a "picture.pbD" when we build the executable. (marked as p-code and all pbd boxes checked).

Just an idea.

Yes, just tried to put all my images inside app (pbr) and works fine.

Thanks for the help.

Hi Pau,

I think you don't need an extra PBR file. You can use one you already have for your application.

But I've not tested it.

Regards,

René

EDITED: I was wrong, R3 introduced the use of pbr ..

For now the PBR file is not being used to reference the ribbon's images. You'll have to distribute them together with your exe.

I think there are plans for the future to make use of the PBR.
