I am currently following the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-upeWlrlSN4 for consuming a REST service using the REST client for a POC to show the PHB so we can upgrade to PB2017.  the video says to use File/New and select the REST client proxy (from Tools), but I do not have that option.  Under projects, I show:

ApplicationWizard
Application

.NET Web Service Wizard (disabled)

.NET Web Service (disabled)

.NET Assembly Wizard (disabled)

.NET Assembly (disabled)

Web Service Proxy Wizard

Web Service Proxy

EJB Client Proxy Wizard

EJB Client Proxy

Currently using the R2 trial - PB2017 R2 build 1756.  Do I need a newer build?

What Roland said.  That video is for PowerBuilder.Net.

WIth PowerBuilder 2017 R2 you would use the RESTClient or HTTPClient.  See this article:

https://community.appeon.com/index.php/articles-blogs/tutorials-articles/2-powerbuilder/181-powerbuilder-2017-r2-new-feature-rest

Also, I'll be covering that in a webcast tomorrow.

Also note that the video is from 2016. This has nothing to do with PB 2017. PowerBuilder.Net is discontinued.

I just watched the video. He is using PowerBuilder.Net when he choses REST Client Proxy.

I have the latest - 1769 and it doesn't have that as a choice either. The video must be wrong.
