Dear supporter:

 

      I recently re-installed my PB 2017 on my new laptop, the version is PowerBuilder R3 #1858, but strange thing is that as time as I open whatever datawindow which contain a dropdown list, the PowerBuilder IDE, or runtime application crashed, that would be painful. could give a advice

BTW, My laptop is 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1235U 1.30 GHz with memory of 16GB and Win11 OS, so far not sure what kind of datawindow can lead to crash, I'll continue monitor that

But strange things is that my colleague are all win11 now can run that build 1858,let me try 1880 :)

  I would like suggest that you try resetting your PB IDE's painter layout, as follows:
