Hi - is there any way to build a single PBD using PBC170.exe or does it always build everything in the target?

PS: No, the PBC does not support building just one PBD / DLL.

        It's "All or nothing" currently at the moment.

But - ORCAScript is a command-line alternative using the build library command.



ORCAScript supports passing command-line arguments as values so you can use one command file for a single app and pass the PBL name as argument.



PB Help has additional info on ORCAScript.

Hi Philip;

   Its the same in PB 2017 Rx as in previous PB versions from either SAP or Sybase. You can use the RHMB on any PBL in the System Tree or a PBL listed in the Library Painter's view. From there, choose the Build Runtime Library option to build either a single PBD or DLL from any PBL, as follows:
