Hello all;

Do you know if this configuration has a signing level that helps with antiviruses?

Thanks.

Kike

Thanks Chris for your answer.
If you have any example of a script or command to sign a PowerBuilder app with SignTool.exe, I'd be very grateful. It's a new topic for me.

Anyway thanks.

Kike.

Hi Kike;

  That helps a little bit in earning a "trust" with the O/S but, it's not the same level of trust by signing your App EXE(s).

  The Signing of PB App EXE is currently not supported for C/S apps - however PowerClient and PowerServer deployed apps can be automatically done.

   However, you can sign your PB C/S generated App EXE's using the Microsoft's SignTool:

https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa387764(v=vs.85).aspx

FYI:  SignTool.exe (Sign Tool)

HTH

Regards .. Chris
