Hi All!

I'm trying to get running SalesDemo_Cloud project.

[Build & Deploy PowerServer Project] says "The installable cloud app is published successfully".

[Run PowerServer Project] gives me black screen with four green "Info": and white messages.

Is there any way to get client running from IDE?

Are you able to run the PowerServer demos that Appeon is hosting on this page?  https://demo.appeon.com/?powerserver

  Hi Francisco,

Thanks for explanation.

I didn’t touch black window.

The application does not started automatically.

The URL I have used: come window with two buttons, Launcher I’ve installed from IDE, but have clicked the first button just for any case.

After click on “Start application” button happen nothing.

By the way in project configuration “Create desktop icon” is ticked on but icon does not created.

I’m going to study quick start guide…

Hi Andrei,

The black window you describe is the Console window that hosts the Web API, which are required and started automatically by PowerBuilder 2022 if not already running. You should keep this window open for as long as you're planning on using the PowerServer application. If you close this window, the app will error out. The PowerServer application should start automatically a moments after this console window show up.

Alternatively, with the Web APIs running, you can also navigate to the Web Site where you're deploying the PowerServer application to (most likely http://localhost:80/salesdemo_cloud) to launch the application.

Please review this QuickStart guide to better understand the process to follow to deploy a PowerServer project.

i have access to https://www.nuget.org/ but should i download NuGet packages manually?

The second place where i see any difference or got some doubts - black screen after running PowerServer Project

For me it looks different and stops after fourth line. Is it correct or something is missing ?:

info: Microsoft.Hosting.Lifetime[0]

Content root path: C:\Users\stepana\source\repos\PowerServer_salesdemo\ServerAPIs

i have just .NET 3.5 and 4.8 but not 4.7
