Resolved PB 2017 R3 - Github Source Control Issue

Hi Team, 

Good Day!

 

I am using PB 2017 R3 version and I am trying to connect the Source control as GitHUB. I could able to create the local repository, but I couldn't able to configure my Remote repository URL in PB (while doing the action Push/Pull). It's always shows invalid URL (I am using HTTPS:). I used the same URL in browser it's works fine.

Can you please clarify. Also, 2017 R3 version , i couldn't see the option such as "Create Branch" & "Switch Branch" . Hope these options we have in 2019 version. Can you please confirm whether Git will support fully for 2017 R3 or not?

Hi Armeen, Thanks for your response, so you mean to say 2017 R3 will not support Github fully ?

No, 2017 R3 didn’t support features like branching & merging that you specifically mentioned in your post. I strongly recommend upgrading to 2019 R3 if you will use Git.
