Hi,

 

I received en invitation to the PowerClient webinar and of cause I will attend - I think it is AWESOME :-)

But there was also the below info on another webcast:

  • Part 3 Webcast - Visual Enhancements
    Time: Wednesday, October 28, 9:00 AM PDT

To my knowledge there are zero visual enhancements to what we can build with PowerBuilder in the current R3 beta.

Neither in the Ribbonbar nor in Themes .. So what exactly is there to show other than IDE dialogs being resized ?

RibbonBar has been enhancedin R3, but perhaps you didn’t mention because it is minor enhancement.

I think the bigger and/or more important visual enhancements in R3 are:

1.Web browser control enhancement

2.RichText control enhancement

3.UI accessibility enhancement

I overlooked that - sorry, probably because I'm not going to benefit from that :-)

No problem. The 3 visual things I outlined are big deal for customers that use those features, and we added it based on customer enhancement requests.
