Hi,

Today I received the following information via email:

 

Oracle Compatibility Alert for PowerBuilder Users

Existing versions of PowerBuilder are not compatible with Oracle 18c or 19c. If you are using PowerBuilder 2019, please apply MR # 2170 released on January 6, 2020. If you are using an older version of PowerBuilder, please first upgrade to PowerBuilder 2019 and then apply MR # 2170.

 

In the link, there is not much information on Oracle topics. Does anyone know what the incompatibility problems are with those two versions of Oracle? In my work we are analyzing the migration to Oracler 19c.

To get an idea of incompatibilities, check on Oracle's "what's new features" for every Oracle version after 12c. Those are new features which wouldn't be supported until now.
