Hello

I would like to test PowerScript Migrator. I installed PowerBuilder 2019 R3 and SnapDevelop 2019 R3. According to Using PowerScript Migrator (appeon.com) I have to "Open your PowerBuilder application in SnapDevelop (right click in the Solution Explorer and then select Open PB Workspace).". Unfortunately there is no right click behaviour in Solution Explorer. What do I have to do?

Best regards

Guy

Make sure you selected PowerScript migrator installation option. I had the same problem.

Benjamin

Apparently I first have to create a new project. I do not know which type (ASP.NET Core Web API, Console App (.NET Core), Class Library (.NET Core), Class Library (.NET Standard), Shared Project, xUnit Test (.NET Core)). I created one of the first type and yes, now I managed to open a PowerBuilder solution in the Solution Explorer by right clicking in it.

So, it was not clear to me that I first had to create a new project. Just to let you know...

Thanks for sharing this feedback. The project type you choose depends what you want to do. For example, if you want your PB app to make use of this code I recommend Web API project and from PB you would call it using the RESTClient object. In general, I recommend going with the .NET Core versions of the projects than .NET Standard.

Please see what Govinda wrote below. Try completely logging out of your license in SnapDevelop (not PowerBuilder) and signing back in. He experienced same issue as you and solved it this way.

Just refreshed: right click in Solution Explorer still remains idle.

Please open a support ticket and request a remote debugging session. It doesn't seem you are doing anything wrong so it is eligible for tech support.

Hi Guy,

You also need to make sure that you have the CloudPro license in order to be able to use this feature. If you do, try signing out and then back in again. See if that worked for you. If so, please do let us know.

Hi Guy,

From the screenshot, you are using 2019 R3 Build 2622, it is a beta version. Please try to install the latest 2019 R3 GA version (build 2670) and see if the issue still exists.

Please make sure you installed the PowerScript Migrator plugin for SnapDevelop and .NET DataStore.  When you run the 2019 R3 installer, make sure all the boxes are checked.
