Been using variations of this code for years but we transitioned to Windows 10 64 bit and Office 2016 with Outlook 32 bit version.  Changed the app to be 64 bit.

Creating appointment item for meeting request and set a bunch of properties but .recipients.add(string with email address) fails....does not recognize recipients.

The bitness of the app and anything external it interacts with (database client, ole) must be the same bitness.

Something did change with Office 2016.  I don't know what exactly the changes were, however, we had to change some of our code to get it to work right.

The bitness of Outlook and your PB Application need to match.

For accessing Outlook, are you just using straight up OLE or do you use Outlook Redemption?  We use Outlook Redemption and have no issues adding the Recipient.
