Resolved Offline Installer Download Speed Issue

I am having to use the offline installer for PB 2019 IDE, as one of our build servers does not have internet access.

I am seeing 50Kb/s download speeds.  Is this normal?  The offline installer says it will be roughly a GB in total.  At this rate (currently 62% on Full build 2082) we are looking at another hour just for this piece and still have to download 2170.

It was not even close to this slow using the web-based installer.

Hi David;

    FWIW: It could be something related to your internet ISP/locale as the downloads that I did for all the separate offline install packages came down at megabit speeds. I thought that is was very good for me as I am not on fiber here in the wilds of the Great White North.  ;-)

   I downloaded the entire CloudPro version so I also received the PS2020 and SnapDevelop install packages as well. The entire download was around 30 minutes for all those packages.

Well, it was curious. It was painfully slow for build 2082. I was literally in the middle of timing a minutes worth when it seemed to be slowing to around 20Kb per second, when all the sudden it did the last 60MB or so in less than a minute, then it downloaded 2170 lightning fast as well. So my guess is a network issue of some sort.



I don't believe it was on my side, as I double checked my DL speeds which were consistently 50Mbps down throughout.



Anyway, it's resolved now and wasn't consistent for the entire download so just FYI to Appeon I guess.
