NotoSans-Regular and NotoSans-Bold

fonts are in the:

Appeon\Common\PowerBuilder\Runtime 22.2

Appeon\Common\PowerBuilder\Runtime 22.1

directories.  They are listed as required for the pdf builder.  Why?

Do we have to install these on the users workstations via installer? Or are they added at runtime?

Hi Mike;

   AFAIK these files are required & delivered as part of the PB runtime when the PDF builder feature is being used.

does the font need to be registered, or just in the directory (gets registered at runtime as needed)?

Does it need to be in the same directory as the other dlls, or does it need to be in the same named subdirectory under the directory holding the runtime dlls (basically the same structure as is in the path i found it in)

Hi Mike,

Does the font need to be registered?

--> No.

Does it need to be in the same named subdirectory under the directory holding the runtime dlls?

--> Yes.

Please just consider these fonts as required resources for PDFlib (the library for the PDF Builder functionality).

Best regards, Julie
