Resolved Not a question-obseration about Edge and plug-in

Just noticed today the Appeon multi-browser plug-in is now working with Chromium Edge (85.0.564.51) - we're using Appeon powerserver 2017 with the mb plugin installer dated 10/27/2017.

Hi Tim,

I didn't get whether your need some additional info upon your "discovery".

Edge is now built on Chromium and has dumped MS old rendering engine in favour of Chromium, which is the basis for Google Chrome too. Thats why the Appeon multi-browser plugin works for both.

Needless to say, I warmly suggest you upgrade to latest PowerServer 2020 in order to have the newest multi-browser plugins.

Thanks Marco - that is our intent. It was a surprise since it hadn't initially worked with Chromium Edge early this year (July I believe). In any event I had assumed it was a change in Edge since then.
