Hello,

Has any consideration or alternative approaches been discussed by the Appeon folks to provide functionality within the PowerBuilder IDE to consume 3rd party .Net assemblies like First DataBank (https://www.fdbhealth.com/solutions/integration-options-uk/), for example.

Bruce Armstrong had a list of "preferred new PowerBuilder features" (https://www.brucearmstrong.org/2015/05/my-list-of-preferred-new-powerbuilder.html) that had included "Add a wizard to make non-visual .Net assemblies available to PowerBuilder Classic through COM Callable Wrappers (CCW)."

This would make having to take a 3rd party .dll with possibly hundreds of functions and generating wrapper functions for each method (including consideration for overloaded functions) much easier with a Wizard approach.

Any feedback on direction is appreciated.

Regards.

Greg
