Hi Sir,

Currently I am working on my linux box to become PowerServer/WebAPI. I am using nginx, and i had followed this https://docs.appeon.com/ps2022r3/Installing_Nginx_Linux.html  to install nginx. And now, was stuck at this https://docs.appeon.com/ps2022r3/Configuring_Nginx_to_be_case_insensitive.html

I dnt understand Step 4.  (i already installed nginx earlier) . First question, documents wrote "copy the files from /src/ngx/nginx-1.21.3/objs/nginx" , copy nginx file only or everything inside /objs/ folder?    Second question,"replace the existing ones" , where the location of the existing one? is it this one "/usr/sbin"   or  "/etc/logrotate.d"  or "/etc/nginx" (see pictures attached)

Can guide? (see pictures attached)

Thanks a lot.

Hi Sim,

What linux distribution are you working with?
The instructions are meant for CentOS, you might need to adapt the steps to your specific environment.

Francisco

Hi Francisco,

I am on AlmaLinux. Are you able to shade some lights on this? Thanks.

Hi Sim,

Unfortunately I'm not quite familiar with that specific distro. I think you would have more luck looking online for how to do the same thing on that particular flavor of linux
