Select Tables in InfoMaker 2022 when creating a new query does not show all tables.  New tables were added to an existing Oracle 19c database by our DBA via database scripts.  Tables were not created via InfoMaker.  The new tables do have PUBLIC SYNONYMS.  Now when trying to find the new tables in InfoMaker when trying to create a new query the tables are not visible - not listed in the Select Table list.

I can see the new tables using SQL Developer using the same credentials.  Why can I see the tables in SQL Developer but not InfoMaker?

DBA is new and not familiar with InfoMaker.  What need to be update to make these new tables visible via InfoMaker?

Hi Michelle;

  The IM IDE will not show you any table that the current database User ID logging on to that DBMS instance is not authorized to see. In your case, you will either need to A) Have that Oracle UserID privileges upgraded or B) Have your Oracle DBA allow your DB UserID to have access to the new tables. I suspect that the new tables that were added may only have DBA only access privileges at this time (my guess).

HTH
