I would like to package the ".net components" in the runtime packager for pb2017, but this option seems to be seen only in PB 12.5.

Will pb2017 have any other solution?

Hi,

we ran into the same problem.

But then we found the Installation in C:\Program Files (x86)\Appeon\PowerBuilder 17.0\DotNET\pbiu\BootStrapper\Packages\1-PBRuntime

Here you find the Installation Package you need.

Hi Dong;

  That file was included in PB2017/2017R2.  If you are now using PB2017R3, the install MSI has been removed.

Instead ...

1) Create a PBPack.INI file in the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Appeon\Shared\PowerBuilder" folder

2) Add the following to the INI file ...

    [Packager]
    DotNetComponents=1

3) Start the PB Packager utility and you should now see the ".Net Component" installation option as follows:

HTH

I could not find the mis file on that path 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Appeon\PowerBuilder 17.0\DotNET\pbiu\BootStrapper\Packages\1-PBRuntime', is that removed? I am using the trail.
