One of my customers is using the new .Net Assembly feature and ran into a problem.

If two programs running at the same time try to use the feature, the second one gets error -20 from the LoadWithDotNetCore function.

From the help:

-20 -- Failed to load the .NET Core virtual machine.

Works fine if only one program is running.

Is this a known bug or should I have him submit a bug report? If this has already been fixed, what build has the fix?

Hi Roland,

I wrote a small case but did not reproduce the problem you described. Were the two programs compiled by PB?

If that’s the case, kindly report this issue to our ticket system: https://www.appeon.com/standardsupport/newbug so that it can be properly received and tracked.

Please also provide a sample PB test case (with PBT / PBL + .Net Assembly Dll) when you submit it to the ticket system.

If that’s not the case, is it possible that one of the cases has opened the new .Net Assembly Dll file exclusively?

Regards,

My customer tells me he submitted a bug report. I don't see it so it must be private.

It was two of the same PB app running at the same time.

Hi Roland,

Looks like it being an existing bug with .Net Core: https://www.appeon.com/standardsupport/search/view?id=7502
