Hi All,

We have a urgent requirement to SAVE 40 or more DataWindow Reports (some of them are Composite) into One or Multiple Word documents without losing the formatting.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Ganesh

Save the DataWindows to individual PDF files and then run a utility to convert them to Word. There are several available, Google for it.

Hi

We have done this by creating the pdf output and then using ghostscript to add them together into a single PDF. You could import that into word somehow if you wanted.

Just a thought....

When I need to save the format of a report, and of course that's what we ALL want when we create the reports, we save them into a PDF.

I think the only way to do this is by creating a WORD document designed to merge with the data. Then you use OLE to open MS Word, open the template, do the data merge, SAVE AS the target document.

Hi Olan,

Thanks for your response.

But, the datawindows (40+) are already created and in working condition.
