All  - we are setting up the trial version of your Powerbuilder 2017 and have run into a snag with our app libs. We currently are using the below two libs, which I guess originally come in  *.pbx versions (I don’t know how we ended up with .pbd’s, before my time). Anyway they are apparently to be used with PB v12.5, and your new app version is demanding that we upgrade/migrate the below:

pbsoapclient125.pbd
pbdom125.pbd

- do the above come in pbl's?
- are there updated 2017/2018 versions of these, either pbl or pbd, that are available for us to download that won't need a migration?

Thanks in advance.

I have added the new pbdom170 and pbwsclient170 libs to my build and nothing choked on these so it looks like they're good. Thanks again for the help!

Hi John

Replace your PBD with the upgraded version called

pbsoapclient170.pbd
pbdom170.pbd

Hi John;

  Yes, the newer "pbsoapclient170" and "pbdpbdom170" pbd libraries are located in the PB2017Rx's "C:\Program Files (x86)\Appeon\Shared\PowerBuilder" folder.

  Note that the SOAP client is getting very old. This was replaced by the newer "pbwsclient170" library. Food for thought.  ;-)

HTH

Regards ... Chris
