Hi All- After upgrading my infomaker reports from Sybase 12.5 to Appeon 17, all the multi page reports print only 1st page and don't even generate the rest of the pages. These reports are all Rich Text and all these reports were printing fine with prior Sybase 12.5 products (PB and Infomaker). I can't see to see any settings on the report to print only the 1st page. Has anyone come across this kinda issue? The reports are for a hospital and really needed them ASAP.

Thank you Chris! Upgrading IM to build 1880 automatically updated the Powerbuilder also to 1880. The upgrade fixed the issue. However, we have quite a few PB applications (around 40) that will take away lot of resources to have them go through regression testing of all, if we upgrade the PB also to 1880. So, I like to your advice - do we have to upgrade IM and PB to 1880 or is there any other way? - like including a new dll to 1580 build that will fix the issue? Thanks again!

Hi INDUSEKHAR;

1) Build 1880 for both IM & PB is very important because it reflects the "Revision 3" release of those products. The R3 releases are the LTS (Long Term Support) editions, which means that Appeon will be supporting these for a minimum of 3 years. That includes related problems in IM/PB 2019 will be fixed in the 2017 R3 editions of IM & PB.

2) The RTE changes are mostly concentrated in the PBRTE170.dll. However, there were ancillary DLL's updated as well when considering all the fixes. Normally as well, Appeon does not recommend mixing and matcing al set of DLL's between updates within the same series (ie PB 2017 and/or PB2019). This can certainly cause execution issues and sometimes inconsistent behaviour.

So the "bottom line" answer from me would be NO and also stepping up to build 1880 (R3) is a better support route as well IMHO for the longer term. HTH

Hi  INDUSEKHAR;

   Please update IM2017 to IM2017R3 build 1880. There were fixes to the RichText control between the original IM2017 release and R3.

HTH
