I really appreciate your guidance to help us resolve this bug that is causing big issues for clients when using our application.
I am using PB IDE 2019 and Appeon PowerServer 2019 for .NET
This are steps taken that causes the issue.

Open Chrome and use the reporting link. (This is an example link, not the real one: https://something.something.com/something/multi_browser_index.htm)

Leave the browser open and DO NOT log into reporting for a couple of seconds.

Close the web browser by clicking the X on the top right.

This will cause the entire computer to crash, closing all open applications.

When you open the browser again, it will require an installation of the Appeon Extension.

If you choose Cancel on the log-in screen and then close the browser, it does not crash the system.
Another set of steps that causes almost the same behavior.

Launch Edge … same behavior found when using Chrome

Navigate to the Reporting URL : (This is an example link, not the real one: https://something.something.com/something/multi_browser_index.htm)

Receive prompt to download/install appeonbrowswer plug-in and accept to install

Cancel as it’s loading; and we receive a “blank” browser window.
**We have to minimize, then maximize, the browser before it will display the login screen.
**Login screen is “stable” and will not crash the OS when it sits idle. -
Close browser window … and the OS still crashes when the browser window is closed.
When we relaunch the browser window and navigate to the URL, we are (again) prompted to download the appeonbrowser plug-in.
