hello all 

 

i have migrated my from pb2017r3 to 2019r3

i am using soapconnection ws . with 2017  i just added the pbsoap170.dll + pbwsclient70.dll + pbsoap170.pdb  to the files directory and all worked great ,

now i can not find pbsoap190.pbd and the app crashes 

 

what do i do  ?

Hi Moshe;

  Note that R3 implemented the "decoupled" runtime. So the runtime, DLL's & PBD's do not have any numbers in them any longer.

  The PBD's that you are looking for are in the "IDE"  subfolder where the R3 installation resides.

I put the pbwsclient.pbd with the deployment pbl's , and its working

Hi Moshe, I recommend as part of your upgrade to replace the obsolete SOAP client with the new HTTP client.  It is so much easier to deploy, more secure, and eligible for tech support.

You are right of course , and with some ws i do work with HTTP client , it's super , but with some , i need the time to migrate
