Hi

I have a powerbuilder application where I use Microsoft Web Browser in OLE custom control. It uses IE 11.

The problem now is that the website I need to open there is not compatible with IE anymore. Is it possible to use Edge if I migrate my OS to Windows 10? or better, with no need of migrating? Or is it possible to use any other browser instead of IE?

Earlier this month Microsoft put a new Edge Chromium control into developer preview. I don't think it has a COM interface so to use with PowerBuilder, someone would have to develop a visual PBNI control wrapper.

If you cannot upgrade to pb 2019, you can consider using this:

https://cefsharp.github.io

You'll probably have to wrap it in a .Net visual activeX to be able to use it in powerbuilder.

Hi Mariano;

   Have you thought about using the new built-in Web Browser control in PB 2019 R2?
