Hello,

Two of our customers very often encounter the "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error : R6025 pure virtual function call". I have seen several publications about this, and we have already tried to follow the solution by installing the latest Microsoft Visual C++ and checking the Powerbuilder DLLs. Unfortunately, this has not yielded any results so far.

Is there anything else we can do to solve this problem?

The environment used is Windows server 2016 and Powerbuilder 2019 R2.

Kind regards.

Hello Armeen,

It is not possible to use PB2022 at the moment, as this version is not internally validated for our KTP product.

Best regards,

yw, Hope you solve it. Just a shot in the dark because this is a very tricky nasty error that shows up once a time in few years :)

I've also found places where they advice to re-install the .Net framework runtime itself, like here: https://www.partitionwizard.com/clone-disk/r6025-pure-virtual-function-call.html

PB 2019 R2 uses older version of C++.  I would suggest you do a test with PB 2022 see if it resolves your problem.
