Resolved Lowest Supported Version:21.0.0.1311

Started with PB 2021 on the wrong foot.

After creating the Runtime package for version  21.0.0.1311 got an error while running the app on the test server (no IDE installed, only runtime)

 

There is currently no matching version,Lowest Supported Version:21.0.0.1311

 

How do I fix this?

Hi,

From which pb version did you migrate to 2021?

If you do a search on your error message on this Q&A you'll find several similar errors. For example this one: https://community.appeon.com/index.php/qna/q-a/pb-2019-r3-there-is-currently-no-matching-version-error

Hi Arcady,

Since PB 2019 R3, PB IDE and Runtime are separated. Please refer to the link below for details:

I won’t suggest you package and install the PB runtime MSI file by using PB Runtime Packager. Instead, I suggest you install PB 2021 Runtime referring to the instruction in the link below:
https://docs.appeon.com/pb2019r3/application_techniques/ch09s02.html#Installing_PowerBuilder_Runtime 

After installation, please check if the following directory exists on the client, and then run your exe application.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Appeon\Common\PowerBuilder\Runtime 21.0.0.1311.
