What would happen to PowerBuilder IDE and PowerServer installations if for some reason the Appeon web server crashed and license checking were not available for a couple hours?

Will we be blocked from getting into PowerBuilder or does it only check periodically?

Hi Roland;

  That is a great question!

  If that were the case and the Cloud licensing system went offline OR you were developing on a laptop where you suddenly had no internet access for a while, the Appeon Cloud Licensing mechanism will default to a grace period of 5 days. So as long as the Cloud licensing system is back and/or your laptop reconnects OK to the internet within 5 days, there should be no disruption in your development activities.

Regards ... Chris
