We are having issues with one of our Developers not being able to use her PowerServer AEM client with our PowerBuilder CloudPro license. As far as I can tell she has a valid license assigned, and her PowerBuilder client is working. The AEM is giving the following error: Failed to log in. Please make sure a valid online license is assigned to the account.

I have her logged her out from the site, and had her log back in.

How can I resolve this issue?

Hi Bryant,

For PowerServer 2020 and older, the email address needs to be also assigned to the PowerServer license (only assigning the PowerBuilder license is not enough).  Here is link to do so: https://account.appeon.com/assign-user/psm

For PowerServer 2021 and newer, we simplified things that you only need to assign the PowerBuilder license and the PowerServer license is automatically assigned.

Best regards,
Armeen

Hi Bryant;

  FYI: The AEM web browser utility has nothing to with PowerBuilder. It's a "console" App for PowerServer version 2020 and below.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for that information. Who should I contact, for what looks like licensing issues at Appeon? (An e-mail or such?)

The AEM password is set at installation time. This can then be altered in the AEM web App later on. If this is for a development machine, I would just reinstall the "developer" version of PS2020 if the PB developer has forgotten their PS password on their local machine. However, try the default UserID: admin and PWD: Admin first.

If the AEM password has been lost on a production version of PS2020, then I would recommend opening a support ticket.

Hi Armeen / Chris;

I have used the link and assigned a license to her. I'll have her test it out.

Thanks for your help.
