Recently switched from DevOps TFS to DevOps Git.  I really prefer TFS but we can no longer get it to work with PB starting with Build 3397.  TLS related changes that previously worked no longer work.  That isn't the purpose of this post though.  We've moved to Git and now we need to get Git working properly.

I need to remove a PBL from the library list but the library list is disabled (grayed out).  Running PB 2022 R3 Build 3397.

  • No painters are open
  • PBT file is not flagged as read only
  • All items in application have been committed to master and pushed.
  • I have tried restarting PB
  • Git operations are working fine for other objects.

Any idea what is preventing me from changing the library list in PB? Can I and/or should I just change the PBT file in Notepad?

The .pbt file probably is set to read-only.

Although the file was not marked read only, the folder it was in was marked read only.  I didn't know that was possible.  My apologies.  Issue resolved.

As I mentioned in the 2nd bullet point, it isn't set to read-only
