Resolved Issue with the new forum software

For the most part I like the new forum software.

It seems to continued the previous irritant: it doesn't keep you logged in very long. If I clicked into a question and want to comment, I have to login.

The problem is that the login process doesn't restore you to the page you previously were on! You have to hope you can find it again.

Please fix the login process so that it puts you back on the page you were. Also, increase the time it keeps you in logged in state. Even better, give us an option for staying logged in forever.

I use Chrome. I don't get logged out during the same day. I'm not sure exactly the timeout.

I think it must be something in your settings or you are using Chrome on multiple devices. I have noticed when I login to a website (not just Appeon websites) using Chrome on one machine it expires my sessions on the other machine.

I've had the same experience as Armeen with Chrome.  I stay logged in all day.

I wonder if it is Roland's browser settings or problems with his installation.  I'm using Chrome and I have never noticed it logging me out.

I am using FireFox and have also never been logged off. Although, I always try to logoff at the end of each day (usually). As for the login loosing your web link's position - I do have that issue.
