Hi, you all.

As of November 26, 2020, I have uploaded an app to the App Store from Xcode and the output in Xcode was successful. However, I received an email from Apple mentioning the following:

We identified one or more issues with a recent delivery for your app, "mSinergy" 1.0 (1). Please correct the following issues, then upload again.

ITMS-90809: Deprecated API Usage - New apps that use UIWebView are no longer accepted. Instead, use WKWebView for improved security and reliability.

In effect, I couldn't find my app on the App Store Connect site afterwards.

I am surprised by a post that Heino Hellmers posted in February this year, in which he says that he was able to upload his application to the App Store and publish it. I suppose it's because in February, the date he published his app, Apple still didn't have the UIWebView restriction. Or is it that there is currently a way to solve this issue? If so, please let me know the solution.

I am using PowerServer 2020 Build 2323.

Hi,

we had the same problem in the past when deploying to the apple store.

But last time we did a new deployment is was just a warning and apple just  gave a feedback, that they will not accept this in the  near future. This problem still exists in latest version of PowerServer.

We send a change request to appeon and they wanted to check and see what they can do.
We  also need this change and are thinking/hopping that this change will come with a PS 2020 R2 version also with offical Android 11 and iOS 14 support in the near future.

Because Appeon has deprecated Mobile Apps starting with PS 2021 we hope that we will get long time support for PS2020 and also support for the latest mobile OS versions.

So the only thing you can do today is sending a request to Appeon. So we will all have a chance to get  this changes. We already send  our Mail to Appeon month ago.
