Resolved Is SnapDevelop being removed from PowerBuilder Client?

I was following along with the Elevate sessions using PowerBuilder 2025. In one of the sessions with the Marco Shipping app, Marco said he uses SnapDevelop and accessed it using a link in the Powerbuilder client. When I launch this from PowerBuilder 2025 beta, it says I must download this from devmagic and not Appeon. Is this product being removed and no longer supported by Appeon?

note that when SNAP 2025 is installed, the PB 2025 CloudPro version will automatically detect & use that new version.

 - what if you are not using the Cloud Pro version?

Hi Jeff;

Then you can then just use SNAP for your own C# projects but not PowerServer based ones. HTH

Hi Jeff;

  •   It's only that the new SNAP 2025 product will no longer be installed during the PB 2025 installation.
  •   Instead if you want to use it, you will now download it separately from the new DevMagic website .... https://www.devmagic.com
  •   Note that the SNAP 2025 product from the DevMagic website is a free to download & free to use product.
  •   Also note that when SNAP 2025 is installed, the PB 2025 CloudPro version will automatically detect & use that new version.  ;-)
