RE: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure:  We are looking at migrating our on-premises Oracle databases to the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.  We use client applications in PB2022.  I don't see anything on the Appeon site about Oracle Cloud, but wanted to check and see if this is supported/unsupported, or whether it is just related to the Oracle version.  I don't know much about it at this point, but I am told it still uses the Oracle client and tnsnames to connect to the Oracle database.  Thank you.

If the database is all that is running in the Oracle Cloud then you don't need to worry about any chance of PowerBuilder incompatibility.  Of course, you would want to verify with Oracle tech support that it is backwards compatible with their own stuff.  Specifically, that the native Oracle Client yo you are currently using is supported by the cloud version of the DB?  And also verify that all the SQL/commands supported by your current version of on-premise Oracle is also supported by the cloud version?

Thank you, Armeen!  This is exactly what I was hoping to hear.  We are responsible for the version of Oracle we will be using on the Oracle Cloud, and we will be upgrading our on-premises Oracle first, so we should be good with those issues.
