Our app is PowerBuilder 2019 Build 2170 and we use InfoMaker 2019 Build 2170. IM can be launched from the app so that users can customize reports. We'll be moving to PB 2021 in a couple weeks so we can make our spring release using 2021.

We have found that when editing a Form in IM that their is an invisible limit about half way down that prevents you from moving the control further down. Opening the form in PB, it is a window that inherits from w_pbstyle_freeform that displays a datawindow. The ancestor window resize event makes sure the datawindow control is at 0,0 and fills the workspace area.

Is this a known bug or do I need to report it? I'm currently migrating the app to PB 2021 to see if IM 2021 has the same issue.

Hi Roland;

  FWIW: Build 2170 of PB and IM is the GA release and will be out of maintenance on 2022.08.06. I would recommend moving to PB/IM 2019R3 build 2728 as the R3 release is A) the Long Term Support version and B) has included many PBVM (runtime fixes). Food for thought.

Regards ... Chris

The problem occurs in PB 2019-R3 Build 2728 as well. I'll create a bug.
