Does anyone know how to retrieve application properties while the application is running?

I am looking to retrieve properties like: 

Product Name

Company Name

Description

...

This information from the Project object (not the Application) gets built into the application's exe as "version strings". Take a look at Roland Smith's OSVersion free code example app on his TopWizProgramming.com web site, as it shows you how to extract this information from an exe:
