How to make the click once deployment to not replace the old version with newer version. please let us know what and where to modify the files in PB files .

But in our proiect they are using clickoncedeployment  to buld the package externally to send it for user testing . please help me understand how clickonce manipulates the version let me know how does it replace the old version with latest version .

But we have to take the exes and pbds from application folder so let us know how to resolve this please help in any way that we can do to not replace the old version

As Chris said, PB 2019 R3 doesn't have Click Once technology. So your company must have acquired the technology somewhere else. I would suggest checking on Microsoft forums since this is Microsoft technology.

Alternatively, since you are on PB 2019 R3, you might want to consider to switch from Click Once to PowerClient deployment method. PowerClient is native PB deployment method developed by Appeon. Here is more information: https://www.appeon.com/products/power-client

Hi Prasad;

PB 2019 Rx does not use Microsoft "Click once" technology. That feature was in PB 11.x and retired in PB 12.1.

Which version of PowerBuilder?  Appeon versions of PowerBuilder do not use Microsoft's "Click Once" technology.
