we tried drop-down DataWindow (DDDW) also, but same issue with it, first time four options are loading, but after when we select any option, the height of selection window is reducing and can see 2 options at a time. It is happening with only one dropdown. is there any setting or properties that we can change it to fix it.?

It would be helpful to us if you would please clarify what you mean by "How to fix or give the height to the options windows in dropdown", as this statement is confusing. Are you referring to the number of DDLB selections shown, or the font size of each of the listed selections within the drop-down list, or something else? An illustration of what you are trying to accomplish would be very helpful. Can you post screen snapshots of the initial appearance (with four options listed) and then another snapshot when only 2 options are shown?

The most effective way to obtain help with this kind of issue is to produce a small, sample app that exhibits the issue and attach the zip'd PBL, target and workspace in a new post.

Create an external type DataWindow with the values hard coded in the Data view. Then assign that to the main DataWindow column as a DropDownDW and then you can specify the number of rows.

Hi, Santosh -

Are you asking how to change the height of the lines in the drop-down list box (DDLB) that list the available selections or are you asking about the number of DDLB options displayed in the list?

In either case, please know that the DDLB edit style cannot be customized in that manner. If you require this level of customization, you should consider using the drop-down DataWindow (DDDW) edit style instead.

Best regards, John
