For a 64-bit PowerBuilder application you need to install 64-bit drivers on the client/desktop machine.  The bitness of the drivers on the client/desktop machine do not have to match the database... it needs to match the PowerBuilder application.

Hi Murugesan,

Please note that Sybase ASE version 12 is not supported. You can consult supported versions of ASE here:

https://www.appeon.com/support/documents/appeon_online_help/pb2017r3/connecting_to_your_database/ch08s01.html

That being said, this does not mean that you won't be able to connect to such database, only that Appeon does not guarantee its functionality with PowerBuilder 2017 R3.

Can you specify what particular issue you are facing so the gurus on this forum can potentially provide better feedback?

Cordially,

Mariano C.

ASE 12.x is accessed via the SYC interface which is included with PB 2019. ASE 15.x and higher is accessed via the ASE interface.
