Hi all

We have installed powerbuilder/powerserver on a virtual windows server and everything works fine so far. The app can also be deployed and accessed there. However, when I call up the http link from outside (in the related network zone), I get an error message that the website is not accessible and that I should check the proxy and firewall. We have opened the port (5099) in the firewall. We also tried to deploy the app on another port (8080), but that didn't work either. Do you have any idea what to set so that the app can also be accessed from a different environment?

PowerServer/Builder 2022 R3.

Thank you in advance.

What is giving you the error, the Web API or the Cloud App?

What port is the IIS Website you're hosting the Cloud App on?

Are you hosting the Web APIs on IIS or running them on Kestrel?

Francisco

Currently on Kestrel (from IDE). I get an error message that the website is not accessible and that I should check the proxy and firewall.

What IP address is the Kestrel server listening on?

Hi Gzim;

  I suspect that the block is also either the way your firewalls are configured (ie: "white hole") or a further configuration of a Proxy Server settings as well. The best way forward here would be to seek the help of your organization's Network Support team to resolve this.
