Resolved How to configure JVM in PB 12.5

hi

I installed PB 12.5 and run pb as administrative trying to set JVM but it failed

01 JDK 17.0.5 64 Bit

02 JRE  jre1.8.0_311

03 Windows 7 64 Bit

04 PB 12.5 Build 2511

 

If I look at my old machine there I have 

java jre 8.311

java sdk 17.0.1

JDK Location =  C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_311\bin\client
JRE Location = C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-17.0.1\bin

 

Now in my new system JRE client folder is missing instead it has server folder. I set following path 

JDK Location = C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-17.0.5\bin
JRE Location = C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_311\bin

File classpath = D:\mysql-connector-java-5.1.26-bin.jar

Hi Prashant;

  PB 12.x was hard wired to JDK/JRE version 1.4 which was normally installed with the PB installation. It should be located underneath where the PB IDE is installed as a subfolder.  HTH
