I'm not sure I need more caffeine today, but I definitely know I need more patience yell ... I'm trying (without success) to insert a screenshot image that resides on my PC into this forum's HTML Editor (the utility I'm using right now to compose this message). I click on the "Insert/edit image" toolbar button and a dialog window opens. How do I identify the image file to be uploaded/inserted? I've tried "D:\Temp\Test screenshot.jpg" (without quotes and with quotes) and I've tried "file://D:\Temp\Test screenshot.jpg". Does the image have to be in PNG format? This is simultaneously maddening and humbling.

It appears i'm going to have to reconsider my hoped for career transition from PB Developer to Web Publisher.

TIA for the help! - john

Coffee is not the problem.  The Appeon Community site doesn't allow for uploading of images.  It must be linked through URL.  Sorry about that!

Can we have a list of any suggested, secured public website(s) to host such images ?

I did a web search using the keywords "image sharing site free" and found several. I chose imgur.com, but your needs may be different.

John -

Do not usethe HTML editor when posting to this forum. Simpy use the default interface.

If you do so, you can PASTE images into the post. That's what Chris was trying to say

My question was in regard to the HTML Editor used in Appeon Community web site, not PowerBuilder itself. The Q&A forum required me to categorize my issue, with one of the pre-defined selections, so I had to pick one even though none were applicable. This really was not a PowerBuilder-related issue. Sorry for the confusion.
