Hello Community,

How do I add a structure to a Custom NVO without using the source code to do it? What are the steps to add the structure in the NVO graphically? is it possible to import the structure, and function under the NVO directories?

how to use a structure outside of an NVO keep in mind the structure is in the directory structure in the NVO.

If you need to use the structure outside of the NVO, create it as a structure object and delete it from the NVO.

'the structure is in the directory structure in the NVO' is there any help on this anywhere?

Hi

If you mean import from the global structure list then this is impossible and the only way is to use source code editor.

If you mean import from another NVO then you can simply copy&paste structures between NVO structure lists.

 

May I ask you what's a local structure good for? I've never found any reason for using it and every time I did it I found later that I need the structure globally. Do you use static NVOs like namespaces just for better understanding of your code?

Make sure the 'Structure List' view is visible. You can activate it from the View menu.

Right click on the Structure List and choose Add from the popup menu.

Hi Chris,

I could not understand the question completely. I created a nvo and inserted 2 different structures by cliclking on Insert menu. is that not how multiple structures are added to a nvo?
