I have a grid dw. I want to perform some filtering on the columns in the dw. For example, when I start to type in the cust no field next to the magnifying glass, it will start to filter based on a like clause. Also, clicking on the magnifying glass, I want to do some more filtering - see Cust Name below.

This issue I have is w the grid dw. How do I add this extra row for the hourglass fields? And how can I make it editable?

Hi Robert;

  FWIW: Suggestion .. use two DW Controls. One for the result (like you have now) and one above it with the same DWO with one dummy row in there for capturing the Filtering criteria the 2nd DC as the filter data is being entered in the 1st DC. Food for thought. HTH
Regards .. Chris

I thought about that but, when they resize a column, the duplicate de won’t resize at the same time and adding script to do this might be overkill.

you just have to code for resize/move of columns. when one moves, you move the other via script.

your other option is to not allow users to move/resize the columns
