Using PB v12.1 b7055, I was able to follow Bruce Armstrong's article (available in the Articles section of this website) to get GiT running.

As a follow up, I tried SVN and Git and was able to get them both working, but I do not like using tools that have no support on critical components. I'm still working on getting my company to add WizSource to the approved vendor list.

I've never really understood why anyone needs branching, as long as the source control product saved each version of the object.

And yes, setting up SVN and Git was a major pain when I did it, even with the article by Bruce Armstrong to guide me. I know that R2 supposedly supports Git in a native manner, so if you get it working, how about writing up a HOW TO SET UP GIT IN R2 article?  :)
