Resolved Ghostscript version to use for PB2019 R3

Hi Sir or Madam,

  CUrrently we are using distill method to generate PDF report, since it took longer time to use PDFLib. Therefore, i would like to check with you what is the good/tested/reliable version of Ghostscript to use? Is it ok to use 9.19?

Hi Sim;

   The current version is 10.0. Just make sure that you install the Ghostscript printer via its INF file. Also, install the 64 bit GS driver on a 64 bit O/S.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for quick response. I have few questions

1) Is it a must to use the latest? can I still maintain version 9.19 that i used since day 1 ?

2) Is it for win10 64bit, i just need to install gs919w64? do not need to install gs919w32 and gs919w64 together?

Hi Sim;

1) v9.19 is quite old but hey if it works...

2) You would only use the GS version with the same bitness as your O/S.
