Hi,

I have a problem when saving DW content in PDF format using Distill! mode .

Windows 11

PowerBuilder 2019 R2

Ghostscript 9.19 , 9.27 or 9.56 (I tried with all versions...)

with any version of ghostscript the created PDF is empty.
Using Win10 there are no problems.
At the moment there's i can't change the Powerbuilder version or using "NativePDF!" because i should recompile the application.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Luca

FYI: You will need to use PB 2022 or higher releases in order to use the latest GS versions.

Yes, GS is a Windows O/S App thus you need to use the GS bitness that matches the O/S. ;-)

In April 2021, I submitted bug 6504 about this.

The bug started with Ghostscript 9.54.0.

Appeon commented on bug 6504 that it was fixed in 2021 GA and 2019 R3.

There was a known bug in PB 2019 with Ghostscript versions around 9.5, I don't remember the exact versions of GS & PB. Try a newer version of Ghostscript.

Latest is version 10.04.0 (2024-09-18).

Hi Luca;

My GS is working great on W11 but I'm using GS version 10.04.   HTH

PS: note that PB 2019 Rx is not certified for W11. You should be using PB 2022 R3 for that O/S.

Regards ... Chris
